Muskego boy faces sexual assault charge
A 16 year old student gave his ex-girlfriend a wedgie. He was suspended for five days. He was also arrested and faces criminal charges of sexual assault.
Police were called to Muskego High School, W183-S8750 Racine Ave., at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 for an alleged assault, Capt. Paul Geiszler said.
The girl told police that she was getting ready for band practice at about 5:30 p.m. and that when she came out of the locker room, she was confronted by the 16-year-old boy, the report says.
As the girl started to walk away from him, the report says, the boy grabbed her, and the girl’s friend screamed for the boy to put her down.
The girl left the area and went to band practice. She was crying. She told the band instructor but was too embarrassed to tell him the full story, the report says, but another student told the teacher what had occurred, and police were called.
The boy told investigators that he was “just joking around” but that he may have gone too far. He said that he was sorry and that he “would do anything to make it up to her if he could.”
The boy was arrested, handcuffed and taken to the Muskego Police Department from the school.
Okay, this kid is an idiot. You don’t give wedgies to girls. You just don’t. I fully agree with the suspension here but arresting the punk and taking him to jail is a bit of overkill. If the girl herself had wanted him arrested that would be one thing but it was the school itself that called in the cops.

I have no sympathy at all for this creep. The school had to call the cops because if they didn’t, they would have been sued.
The US Supreme Court ruled several years ago that schools were responsible if they didn’t take action regarding assaults such as this, and this was assault, even if the boy thought he could get away with it because they dated at one time.
I’m more upset with schools that look the other way because they don’t want to get involved, and there are plenty of cases like that even today.
This school did the right thing. They saved their taxpayers a bundle of money, and they put everyone on notice that they wouldn’t put up with this.
There is no excuse for arresting him over a wedgie; even if was given to a girl. This is stupid. Wedgies happen in high school. Sure suspend him but dont charge him with sexual assault over a wedgie
Do emergency rooms have official procedures for collecting evidence of wedgies like they do for rape? Wedgie kits?

Why didn’t the principal take care of this? Taking it to the police without passing it through school procedures seems hasty, unles he has done similar actions previously.
Its a wedgie Sherri not sexual assault, If it were considered sexual assault than nearly half of all school kids would guilty of it at one time or another. Was it wrong yes, should he be arested No.
I think in this case the boy really went overboard. I mean he didn’t just give her a wedgie, he grabbed her and restrained her. I’m tempted to say that instead of being arrested the Dean of students should swat his ass a few times with a paddle…lol.The same goes for those 5 boys who gave that 13 yearl old boy a wedgie.

That’s sexual harassment. The little punk deserves to be arrested and sent to Juvy. He put his hands in her pants and touched her. Case closed.
Travis, shutup, it wasn’t just a wedgie. The guy touched her butt. It was unwanted. That is called sexual harassment. That is grounds for suspension.

Punishment, but not juvy, a wedgie is fun… But when it goes a little overboard I would just suspend him for al ong period of time or think of somehting. “case closed”
