Muncie Community School Board announces student discipline policy review committee
School committees to consider policy changes
This group will review student handbooks and make recommendations for changes. Unfortunately the impetus isn’t to review the handbooks for current policy problems, it’s to prepare for much harsher violation consequences.
Supt. Marlin Creasy said a new law being considered by state government might impact next year’s policies.
“The Indiana General Assembly is considering legislation to enact severe penalties within schools on bullying,” he said. “I anticipate that this will pass.”

If the law goes into effect, can the General Assembly be held accountable for its own bullying tactics? /sarcasm
I wish! Not bloody likely, though.
